Domain Name is an integral part of your website. It is your "identity", your "name", your "label" or your "address" in the Internet. Domain Name is what people or web browsers should know to go to your website. A website without it's own domain name is possible such as http://www.pinoywebhost.com/~username/ but it is not professional, and hard to remember. You need to register a domain name in able to "own" one and registration of domain name is on a first-come-first-serve basis and unless the domain name is free or no body owns it, you can register it for at least 1 year.

There are two types of domain names, first is the Global TLDs and Local TLDs or Philippine level domains. The popular Global TLDs are .com which is usually for Companies, .Org for Organizations, .Net for Network Related Businesses, and .Biz for Business and for Philippine level domains we have .ph, .com.ph, .org.ph and .net.ph.

We can register Global TLDS for only P750 / year or $15.00 / year while for Philippine level domains it is only P1,750 / year or $35 a year. Please use the Domain Search Function at the top of the page to search the availability of your domains. Searching is still limited to Global TLDs and if you are searching for Philippine level domains, email us at sales@pinoywebhost.com and we wil search it for you.

How does it work?

Rsync greatly improves efficiency when compared to traditional remote backup methods. By synchronizing only those files that have changed since the last backup, using rsync results in large bandwidth savings. When combined with on-the-fly compression, performing daily rsync backup can result in less data transfer than it would take to perform two backups using the .tar.gz method in a given month.
